Active Depth

Last updated: October 30, 2023

The active depth defines the relative depth of a data point that is placed in a view. It is the depth of the data point upon the surface of a plane that is parallel to the surface of the screen. Thus the active depth sets the position of the view plane's surface to any relative distance parallel to and away from the screen. This is the active depth surface or base surface from which elements extend.
